About Us
Golden Kung Fu Academy is founded and run by Master Shifu Tong in summer 2022, which was previously known as Sun Flower Kungfu Academy in Pleasanton, CA from 2011 to 2022.
Master Tong started his Kungfu journey in Shaolin Temple since he was 9 years old. He has been a member of Shaolin Kungfu team and performed on national and international stages in the 1990’s to promote Chinese martial arts. He has competed and won many international Kungfu competitions, and was nominated the “World Martial Arts Famous Person” in 2008. Master Tong holds the fifth degree black belt and national first degree martial arts judge status. Master Tong has more than 20 years of Chinese martial arts teaching experience. His students have won many medals and trophies, as well as the grand championships titles at regional and international competitions. Please check the “Awards” section for more details.
